Default Binding with piping

A week or two ago someone mentioned binding with piping and Susan
Cleveland. Susan is scheduled to be on Simply Quilts on Monday, Dec. 19,
with a demo of her piped bindings. She also had an article about the
technique in the last AQS magazine.

Default Binding with piping

We had her as a guest speaker at my Minnesota guild about 2 years ago. Her
quilts were beautiful. I purchased the piping tool -- but haven't used it
yet!

Default Binding with piping

At Byrne Fabrics in Doylestown, PA, I saw several quilts that were bound
with piping. The binding was done by machine and was completely invisible.
The woman who had done them had taught the method, but didn't have another
class before I left Philadelphia. I would SO love to know how that was done.

Be careful, Kate! Once you start, it will become addictive.
