Were you near the lake? We did a show in the Duluth area a few years ago
and the lake effect on the weather was astounding. Started out in 80's and
dropped to upper 30's in just a few hours!

I also decided to not count on any traffic at small town festivals during
the parade! I'm not a parade person but folks had chairs set up along the
parade route two days before the parade. Here they rent spots and people
camp out for a week before the big lighted parade!

The show I did this weekend went well, considering the first day was a
complete wash out. Well, we made our booth fee and my daughter sold a

nice
bracelet she made. (She only made one piece and it was the first thing

to
sell. I was very happy for her. She has a great eye for design and

color.)
It was about 55 degrees, windy and rainy. It kept the people away. The
second day was sunny and breezy, but we did have about 1 hour of rain.

Even
so, I did enough to make the trip worthwhile. There was a lot of beaded
jewelry there, and some of it was very nice. Everyone's style was a

little
different, though, so it wasn't as cut thought as it might have been. My
guess is, had the weather been good, I would have done very well, so I

will
probably do that show again next year.

Glad to be home! Shows are an emotional and physical workout for me.

We used our new Windstar for the show and it worked out really well.

Plenty
of room for my stuff, my husband, daughter, me and our luggage.

And you very well should be... this was a significant milestone.
