Default Stitching Heaven

Since I found this group, I've been in stitching heaven! I've found out
about so many new products, tips and techniques, it's rekindled my passion!
It's ages since I was able to sit and spend dedicated time to my cross
stitch, but I'm going have a complete day of sewing this week! My hubby has
even agreed that if I want to spend a day sewing, then why not!

I'm also going to have a spending spree, and start my Stash collection by
having lots of S.E.X (did I get it right?!). Scissors, sewing frames,
pastel materials, threads....watch out LNS here I come! Lol

Have a great day stitching - the only thing any of us might take issue with
is your husband having to agree to it! I think that most of us would say
"Darling, I`m having a whole day stitching - so go fishing or something!"
LOL!!!

Ah, I meant that he agreed it was a good thing for me to do, not that I
needed his permission! It's because I've been ill for sometime, so for me
to be able to do it all day is a good thing. We've only been married 8
months, so the honeymoon phase is still going! LOL

You`re right there! Cross stitch saved me from going completely nuts twelve
years ago, after I had a stroke. Hope you soon get better - cross stitch
will certainly help. Now all you need to do is what I did - send your
husband off on a picture framing course! Our local framing shop runs one
every so often.

Well, so far today I have bought some of those Siesta Frames to hold the
Green Japanese Lady (Anchor Kit), I'm doing. My next stop is new scissors,
as the children and hubby tend to use mine for non-stitching things if they
can find them. I don't always hide them well enough!

My daughter has the same problem with her scissors - her husband tends to
use them for removing winkles from their shells! I bought her a Clover
cutter today - at least THAT won`t be any good for the winkles!!!

What`s the most bizarre use to which YOUR scissors, have been put???

A small shellfish - dark grey in colour (or at least the shell is) shaped
just like a snail! Found in the mud mostly in the estuaries.

Here in Nova Scotia it would be a periwinkle...a small salt water snail with
a hard cone like shell. Lets see what Pat's definition is!
