Custom Made Shoes (some bead content)

We have a local shoe repairman, but no shoe makers.

We stumbled upon a shoe repair shop, run by two young men from Mexico, (in
fact, one of them was in our Lamaze class when my dd was born 9-1/2 yrs ago!).
They not only do repairs, they hand make shoes and boots.

Now dh only wears cowboy boots made specifically for him, and since we're
getting into the horse world now (well, it's a good excuse, right?), I'm going
to have them make me a pair of boots. I want tan leather or suede, I remember
the old "palamino" saddle shoes, and love that look! I want rounded toes, not
pointy, and flat, 1" heels, not the tall "cut-ins".

I've tried every form of boot known to man, and my instep is so high, my foot
won't even BEGIN to go into a premade boot!

I can't wait!!
