Quick needle fix
The tip of one of my rosewood circs is a bit splintery. I've been
working on it with 800-grit sandpaper but the rough spot won't be gone. I finally blew out the dust with a can of air (handy stuff, canned air, but 'spensive) and dabbed on some superglue gel. I'm waiting for it to dry, then I'll sand again and buff the tip with a bit of hard wax. It ought to at least let me finish the sweater, after which I can decide if I want to shorten the tip 1/2" to get rid of that spot altogether (and thus risk more splinters by retipping it) or if I want to invoke the warranty. Either way, this is a quick fix. +++++++++++++ Reply to the list as I do not publish an email address to USENET. This practice has cut my spam by more than 95%. Of course, I did have to abandon a perfectly good email account... |

Good luck, Dennis |
