labradorite?

I have about a dozen pale yellow faceted gems that are supposed to be
labradorite. But when I look up labradorite on the internet, it shows
something completely different.
Any idea what I might have?
Any idea if it has any value?

I also have about 20 pounds of uncut "labradorite" that looks like gravel.
Much of it is transparent, but only in places. Any use for this, other than
as aquarium gravel?

Labradorite can naturally be yellow also....check this out:

Could be lots of things, feldspar/bytownite, citrine, even sapphire.
An RI reading from a facted one and a specific gravity reading would
probably be enough to get a decent ID - unless those readings are
'unusual' in some way.
There are a LOT of yellowish gemstones.

What you have is most likely Bytownite which belongs to the same family. It
has a nickname of Golden Labradorite. They differ chemically tho.
Labradorite's chemical formula contains a ratio of 50% Calcium / 50 %
Sodium to 70% Calcium / 30 % Sodium. Bytownite starts at 70% Calcium / 30%
Sodium and goes up to 85% Calcium / 15 % Sodium.

Looking at the Bytownite for sale on ebay, I think that is what I have.
Seems too pretty to be so nearly worthless.
