Default Doll sweater finished!

Ok, call me proud. Call me nutz. Call me redundant.

I finally got the website squared away to show off my little 4-inch
sweater! VP was kind enough to help me with the technical parts (I'd
rather be knitting) and get 'er up there on the web.

It worked out to gauge but I am still concerned it will be too big for
my SIL's dolls. I just mailed it off to her and requested feedback for
future attempts.

Beading in as needed with a crochet hook was the "funnest" part of the
project. Learned something new!

Ok now, I need constructive criticism here! I am very new to modifying
patterns but would appreciate some ideas on how I could alter this
sweater. Thanks everyone!

My opinion is that it is simply gorgeous, and if someone sent me one like
that and it didn't fit a doll I already have, I would be going out to buy a
doll that it *would* fit. ;o)

Oh jeez! Thank you so much! I guess we are our own harshest critics
after all.

That is so pretty Wendy...

....and the beading adds a real touch of glamour.

Well, hopefully, and it added just the bit of learning curve for me,
as well.

Wendy, I tried a bunch of different ways to view your photo and had no luck.
I even made a tinyurl out of your link, but here's what I got:
Uh-oh. Something bad happened...
We are really sorry, but something went wrong while handling your request.

Very nice! I haven't ventured into the beading thing yet. The beads
add a lot to the sweater.

Shelagh that is peculiar because it was working earlier

but when I went in just now to try to see if it was still working it
came up with that error message. Could it be that Yahoo is either too
busy or that the site is down for repair or updating at the moment?

I saw it at last! It was worth the wait - so sweet!

Never mind the dolly, display it as a piece of art: get some of those
little wooden pegs and a piece of jute string and make a little
clothes line on the wall for it I say.
