Crazy Quilt Jacket

Saw this on Sewing w/nancy some time back.

bought book, "crazy Quilting" by Barbara Randle.

decided to do it-started w/navy blue sweat shirt just bought.

in closet ,found gorgeous silky material-bright jewel tones-from
"fancy-shmancy" party dresses-from my "cocktail party days-(which i'm
about to cut up)...

any suggestions/tips/warnigs?

also plan to use lotsa silver/gold

cord/ribbon/rickrack for embellishments...

if its TOO "alarming" may frame it instead of wearing it!!! LOLOL!

1. Warm wash and dry everything, including trims, first.

2. If you use tissue lame, back it with Touch o' Gold interfacing and be
aware that it'll wear badly even so.

3. Avoid the "bull's eye" effect, which places a central motif between your
shoulder blades and/or over each breast.

4. If you use a spray adhesive like Sulky 505, you can audition pieces
before you sew them down.

5. Enjoy yourself!
