I went to my friend's funeral yesterday; long drive and heat made a bad day
worse. Oh and my exhusband's presence for a mere annoyance and proof she
could love everyone.

You all would have liked her, she was a knitter and crocheted too. She made
blankets for various charities. She lived a lot in a few short years. I
will miss her. Funny thing, I was going to call her and tell her I was in
Girl Scouts again and had signed up to teach the older girls how to knit and
crochet. I hope she knows anyhow....

Dear Cheryl......I also lots my best friend last year. There is not a day
that I do not talk to her. She is here in some shape or form. I guess
over the years we have become very close and that means part and parcel of
your self. I do miss her, but slowly have gone to still having her
around. I even loose arguments with her. Mitch would scold me for
peeling the poatoes way to thick, so did my mother ...ha, ha, At times
they standing both at my shoulder and I tell them with a smile to buzz
off. Mitch is there also when I do my corss word puzzle on Saturday. She
was a wizz at that, just thinking of her, she sits and helps me and the
hard clues become less difficult.

Your friend is still with you, and it soon will become a smile when you
pick up the phone to ask her a question. You will find that often the
answer is coming to you thinking of her.

Hang in there

Els

Cheryl,
Please accept my sympathies for the loss of your friend. Think of her when
you crochet and you might be surprised that through the tears a smile will
come to your face at a memory that you both shared.

I often think of my Aunt Billie (passed a few years ago) who I admired so
much for her crafting abilities, along with her kindness and big heart. And
my Aunt Mary comes to mind whenever I see crocheted slippers. She always
make sure we had a fresh new pair.

Take care, Xray

Cheryl your memories of your friend will be the things that will help you
now and forever and you can be sure she is with you at all times - and you
will soon be able to enjoy her being there for you. God Bless Gwen
