Hi Gang!

I'm almost finished a baby sweater (need to buy and sew on buttons) and a
cap for my DIL who is due next month. I used a very bright variegated
acrylic yarn in blue/red/orange, with a touch of green here and there.
They've been told it's a boy, and she was excited about the bright colours.

Shelagh they're gorgeous.

The way those colours have worked through is lovely. The little lad
will look a picture in them.

That's a great looking set! I like how you didn't use *traditional*
baby colors.

The sweater set turned out great Shelagh! I love how the yarn
striped up too. Bright colours are good for kids, they actually
stimulate the brain, good idea to use those vibrant colours!

Default A new picture THANK YOU!

To everyone who posted comments - Thank you so much! I wasn't sure at first
about using this yarn for a baby's outfit, even for a boy - but I guess I'm
a little behind the times. Of course, when my kids were tiny, all you got
was white or pastels.

However, everyone I have showed this picture has liked the colours. Doin' a
happy dance. I just hope the mother-to-be feels the same when she sees it.
