Definitely wait until after the terriers -- pharaoh hounds and small dogs do
not always mix, although there are exceptions. Nila tolerates Rose, but
doesn't play with her.

What part of the country are you in? I might be able to suggest a local
breeder or contact for you to meet a PH in person. Don't know how far you
are in your research; pharaoh hounds are actually Maltese rabbit hounds,
Kelb tal-Fenek, or the national Hound of Malta. Check out Kennel
