Default Back from my jollies

Hi Everyone

Just wanted to let you know that i am back from my holiday- one of my
bestfriends took me away for a week to Gran Canaria and it was joyous to see
the sunshine. I knitted all the way there on the flight (on circulars as i am
doing AS's Marina) and it was great to do a few rows on our terrace. I did
come across a yarn shop in Teror but it was shut and (as i spent sometime
peering through the window) the yarn looked unexciting.

After a few months of major distractions i am hoping that my life is entering a
more even keel. I think many of you know what was happening before Christmas,
and and i also decided that i needed to finish the edits on my PhD and get it
off my hands before i went away- the catharsis of completion and all that (i
had done them, then my prof retweaked the amendments which made me too peeved
to look at them again, and then other things happened....)

So hopefully i will be able to be more constant and to catch up on everything i
am overdue with.

Anyway welcome to any new members, congrats on any FOs and best wishes to any
birthday celebrants.

Regards
Sarah
