Newbie 2 Group-GoodiesByGail Machine Embroidery Designs

Hello, I am new to this group and would like to make a little post
about me and my small online store.
I am a stay-at-home mom who digitizes as a hobby. I usually make
designs for my friend who is the sewing genius behind Creative
Fashions by GertiGerdi(just incase you have heard of her she sells
on ebay as GertiGerdi) whenever she needs a specific design. So I
decided to sell
my designs that turned out good. I have tried to sell my designs on
Ebay but they kill you with their fees so that is why I decided to
make an attempt at an online store.
The website consists of Sets like Baby, Teen and Humorous Sayings. I
made the Baby sayings because my sister-n-law recently had her first
child and I went crazy sewing all kinds of sayings on cloth diapers for
burp bibs. I also have individual designs and a FREEBIE-of-the Month
section. The designs are reasonably priced. And more designs are in the
works. So if you think you might be interested have a look around the

Gail, congratulations on getting your own store up and running. However,
this is not the appropriate forum for advertising. There is a marketplace
group that would be more appropriate, or an embroidery group perhaps.

I did look at your site and I'd like to make a few suggestions. The font is
not very readable. It's fine for headings, but for reading, try something
less frilly. Also, use consistent font colors, red and green font colors
are discouraged since they are difficult if not impossible for the visually
impaired to read. Use the "alt" tag with your graphics so those who choose
to not display graphics can determine what the graphic would show. I'd also
include some kind of copyright statement at the bottom of your page. I hope
you find these suggestions helpful.
