Knitting board

I don't have a knitting machine, I have a knitting board (which is two
pieces of wood with spacers between them and nails all the way down
the top of it on both sides) does anyone have or use one? Does anyone
have any tips, suggestions or patterns for a knitting board?

Sorry I don't have the board, but have been looking at them lately. It is
on the same way the little spool to make a knitted cord on that I had as a
child. I thought that I have seen a few patterns online for them, but can't
find them now. But maybe doing a search or google you may come across them
yourself.
So does knitting up a tube say for a scarf on the board, does that go by
fast with it? I hate to do that on 3 needles, and tried tube knitting with
2 needles, but if I'm not looking at it, I end up knitting some of the back
edge, so it doesn't come out as a tube.

HI Gals...

I just signed on to check this group to see what was happening. I have been
"loom knitting" on the round looms, and have a knitting board due to arrive
early next week. I am so excited!
