Default hello and fabric

Hi y'all. I am new to this group. I spent yesterday going through Part,
and I do mean only P A R T of my mother's unbelievably humongoid gargantuan
fabric supply. There used to be a store nearby where fabrics were on rolls
instead of bolts, and one could go in and tell the little old ladies, "I'd
like a yard of this", and they'd pull fabric until their arms got tired. (I
think my hoop=skirted, OVERskirted, ruffled, southern-belle prom dress
fabric cost like $5, maybe.) Most fabrics were in the $1.00 to $3.00USD
range. So, long story short, my mother has a crudload of fabric, some of
which we would like to sell.

Do any of you make nightgowns? There is a ton of tricot, both smooth and
brushed. If I had to guess, I'd say there's at least 5 yards of each one,
various colors.
There is denim, twill, and more. I had NO idea how much fabric was in
there. Satins, quilting fabrics....AUGH!

Thanks
L

If you don't want it, ship it to me here in the UK. I'll make sure it
is recycled into costumes, bags, kid's sewing projects, whatever...
