Ah, this morning our overcast was so heavy it was a drizzle. My rose
bush just loves this! This is very normal for the area. My curly hair
also reacts in a big way

Hmm, road trip to Victorville!?

Well, I do not do Facebook, so if that is where everyone is going,
you'll have to count me out.

Ginger, try John Frieda's "3 day Straight". Since I turned 50 my

have a mess on my head. That 3 Day Straight product has been a
blessing for me.

Oh, no, Leslie! I don't want straight hair! I got my mother's curls,
my dad's hair color. Of course now it is turning a little muddied and
increasingly gray. the gal who cuts it says it will be snowy white
when it all goes gray.

[yep I have earned every single gray hair!]

The 'no good' I was up to this week was attacking the post office. The
Needy Babies gang asked for vast quantities of receiving blankets. Easy. I
found some bolts of soft, cool cotton appropriate for the deed, ripped 'em
in a good size and cranked up both sergers. Never did figure out how to run
two sergers at once.
I warned the dear soul who receives/delivers the baby gifts that she had
a box incoming that was too heavy for her to lift; probably the mail carrier
has kicked and cussed about it too.
Didn't know Alaska had earthquakes. Is that something you do on a
regular basis or was this a surprise? Polly

"Steven Cook" No Gen, I haven't seen any posts lately either and I also
checked Google. I
guess that we're all just busy with summer stuff.

Polly, what no good are you up to? The earth here is up to no good. Had
a 5.2 quake this morning. Working on the computers and Bert and I just
stopped and swayed back and forth in our chairs.

Gen, I hope not. I'm on the Facebook group, but it's just not the same as
RCTQ. I like this better.

Can I be seen? Because I cannot see anyone else! And no, it's not due
to the coastal fog here or that one in my brain.
My computer shows no posts since 14 June, and I know that is pretty
impossible!

I love John Frieda stuff. I haven't seen the "3 day straight" but I'm going
to look for it. I have pretty much learned to live with my curly, wavy
hair, but I'm always open to a new look.

Oh Seven, I had not heard about your earthquake because I've been busy and
haven't had the TV news on. Glad you are OK.
