Melika
Tyring to find out the origins of some pottery, a coffee set to be
precise. Blue and white design. About 30 years old, so not antique. On the bottom of the pieces it says either Melika or Meliha, Germany. Very difficult to be sure if it's Melika or Meliha, or even possibly something else - the script used is very flowing and difficult to distinguish clearly. Web searches haven't proved helpful. Can anyone help identify this manufacturer? |

Most people here are studio potters and don't kecessarily know much
about commercial wares. IMO, the best place to learn about stuff like this is in the (Pottery, Glass and Porcelain discussion board on eBay. They have very knowledgable folks there.
