Default Where to buy fabric used in lint brushes?

Hi everyone,

I've been looking for the red fabric that is used to make
the lint brushes that you brush one way to pick up the lint
and then remove it by burshing the other way. The fabric
has a very strong nap.

I bought a hand mitt made of this to pick up pet hair at
Petco and discovered it is great for dusting. The mitt cost
$10 and was probably made out of a 16" by 14" piece. I
would love to be able to make my own.

Thanks,

Pat in NJ

I don't think it is sold as fabric. I just picked up the
neatest little folding one that was an airline giveaway.
Just the right size to tuck in a bag or pocket. Check
your local thrift stores for ones people donate - you
might be able to get some that way.

I've never seen that particular fabric offered by the yard, but
check some of the napped upholstery fabrics -- some of them also have
that strongly napped character.
