Default Jewelry Workshop Finally Done!

Thank you to everyone who donated beads!!!

The jewelry activity went great. We ended up with two different
projects, one for little kids (with pipe-cleaners and plastic beads) and
one which was supposed to be for bigger kids (memory wire and an
assortment of glass, plastic, and clay beads).
Everyone had fun.

I have no clue how many people came because I was too busy to notice.
We had WAY more people at the "big kids" table then we had been told to
expect... partly because a huge number of moms wanted to do it too, and
partly because littler kids finished with the first project then came
over to our's. We tried to disaude them but their parents said they
wanted them to do it (and most of the time ended up mostly doing it for
them *sighs*).
We had a couple of families who got way more then their share by taking
all of the more expensive beads, plus making more then one project even
though we told them only one each. This annoyed me a little.
I am glad I bought more materials in addition to all of the donated
beads or we would've run out. Many people said that in the past the
best projects ran out of materials before they got there.

The donated beads were a wonderful help. Everyone loved them.

BTW my classmate took a lot of pictures. We told the parents that hte
pictures would not be made public but are used for our project. If
anyone knows of an easy way I could show the pictures privately to
members of RCB (especially those who donated beads) let me know!

Thanks again!!!!!

Barbara,

Cool, thanks!

How can we organize it?
