If anyone is interested in a charity gift I have one for you. I work for
Girl Scouts-Heart of Ohio. Each year we have a really fun charity event
called "Dazzling Desserts". Area chefs use Girl Scout cookies to create a
dessert. They compete with each other for the grand prize, "The Golden
Whisk"....you get the idea of how fun the event is. We have a silent
auction at the event and people have asked that we have jewelry there for
them to bid on. Sooo, if you want to help, please send your creations to
Girl Scouts - Heart of Ohio, PO Box 370, Zanesville, OH 43702-0370. Much
of our territory is in an economically depressed part of Appalachia so we

I would have loved to do a bracelet swap but time is against me for
Christmas. Only 5 weeks to go, and posting to USA is horrendous this
time of the year to get things there in time. I am posting my cards by
airmail on Monday to make sure they get there.

I have got 9 for Sunday Dinner tomorrow, it is youngest son's Silver
wedding a week on Tuesday Two days after that I go out for dinner with
my ex library colleagues. They still invite me even though I have been
retired 10 years. Also that day it is the last class of the course I am
doing on genealogy. It restarts in January. Then on the 10th Dec. I have
a lunch date with the ladies from my Monday night craft class.
I have the family for Christmas Day and I am busy planning the table
decorations.

I like swaps because it makes me get my brain working to do something
nice for someone nice.
