This group has a bunch of "regular" stained glass folks. Right now it
seems the kiln folks have threads going on, but there's sure a lot of
expertise available to help you in SG and plenty of room for you to share
with us what you are up to. Fire away!!.

There are lots. Most others have move traffic, more participants, and
not posting time delay.

Explore. Experiment. Enjoy.

Well, not only is he NOT going to tell anyone who/where the "lots others
are, he's not going to tell the guy that asked, and no this isn't like
instant messaging, but its not so slow either, unless your in Canada,"they"
slow it down up there on purpose.

Some inferior news services like the one Dennis uses have trouble
showing recent posts in a timely manner.

Since Dennis has been banned from all the rest of the glass groups on the
Web, he wouldn't be likely to mention them anyway. The original poster
might be somebody that is a potential victim of Dennis' marketing scheme,
and Dennis wouldn't wanna lose a new pigeon to a newsgroup where he couldn't
bloviate.

And newsgroups in Canada just post slowly because they know those folks
can't read fast anyway.

Ah ha, so the rest of the world is wise to him too, not just the folks
here?

Makes things alittle more reasonable.... bet the new guy is trying to
figure out what the heck is going on with this.

IF your reading this Will Woodard, you ask the questions, you will get the
answers, usually several different solutions, all of which are correct, only
different. Except for Dennis, there is only one way in his mind, "adapt to
it."

Well, no, actually my post was a dig at Google Groups. I'm still reserving
judgment on Dennis, though it seems stupid to mail-order glass or kilns
anyway, as the shipping would be a nightmare. (On the other hand, I'm more
than happy to drive three hours each way to Lansing rather than deal with
the local place that has less selection, less experience, and higher prices.
The difference, of course, is that the price of the gas doesn't increase
appreciably if I buy 100lbs vs. 50lbs of glass, so I can save up and make
one big, expensive trip.)
