Thank you. I used a metal 3.5 mm circular, which eventually
wasn't long enough when I had over 300 stitches on it. So,
I bought an Addi Turbo lace 47" circular. I wish I had
bought it sooner. Those needles are a dream to work with.

I wanted to order the Knit Picks wooden Harmony needles
but they're out of stock. So in the meantime I've ordered
a 3.00 mm and a 3.25 mm metal circular from them to
compare with the Addi.

I have a new shawl pattern I want to try, called The Hanami:

However, I have Christmas knitting to finish up first (smile)
and two pairs of socks for me. Both pairs are at least
half done.

Thanks for the info. I was curious because I find that pointy needles are a
must when doing a lot of lace stitches. I've started the Tidal Wave Socks
which are a little lacy and am pleased with the new Crystal Palace DPs I'm
using. But I'm not fond of the Tofutsies yarn because the plies separate
too easily.

Just adding my applause: what an amazingly beautiful shawl!
The color is perfect for it.
