Default My SM had a hissy fit

Yep she is with the repair man as I speak. They tell me it will be about 2
weeks before I get her back.
I was only thinking last week that it was about time she (the Pfaff) was
serviced, and over the weekend she suddenly started jamming. Something in
the bobbin shuttle I think. The first time it happened I took the bobbin
apart, dusted and cleaned, rethreaded and she was fine, but the next day it
happened again. The third time it happened I decided not to push it and
accepted that a service was definitely necessary - plus whatever else needs
to be done to fix the problem.
So I have now pulled out the faithful old Singer that has been sitting in
the corner feeling totally neglected. She still sews well and I can at least
finish putting together the quilt top I'm working on.
Have a good day
