Mens Patterns

Hello everyone,

Can anyone suggest a website, book, magazine, anything that would have
mens sweater crochet patterns? I've only seen a couple on-line and I
haven't been able to find any crochet patterns in the craft stores,
only knitting patterns.

Not a website, but I do have an old "Aran" crochet pattern for a
unisex (men's or women's) sweater. Email me for where to send your

Hi Susana,

There is a Leisure Arts leaflet 2515 that is called Back to Basics, set in
sleeves for sizes 42-50 crochet pullovers and cardigans, sport or worsted
weight. I ordered it from a store that carries their books that I found online.

"McCall`s Crochet Treasury , ed By McCall`s editors. Simon & Scuster
, 1977,
It has a Whole Cahpter with Male Sweaters and vest , some of which are
clasic and some have Come back to fashion now adays.
You might also look for Margaret Huber`s "One piece knits that fit "
how to knit and crochet one-piece garments , Van Nostrand Reinhold ,
1978. [there are Reprints now ]

I found them both on amazon! They are being auctioned off. I'm kind of
hesitate to get them though because I can't see the patterns inside
but I'm going to think it over.

Try hitting your local library for the titles you might want to buy. That
way you get a good look before you invest. A lot of libraries can do
inter-transfers if it isn't at your local one or in your local library
system.

i know your feeling , living so far away , i order books through the
post , after reading their description in the mags ,,, and it is not
always a good buy [ and my added postage is Huge] . You might be able
to exchange ???? i just try to find a colleague who might like it ,
and do some swooping ,.,or Hit my head on the wall [well not
really.... but ]
The McCall has served me many years !!!! for many ideas. And
Margaret`s book is Friend ..I learned so much from the book . ..
