They are actually two pair in one!! If you'd like to see what I mean,
make a quick visit to www.glasscrochet.com. Thanks. Mary

I went to this web site but couldn't get to the slippers. The only link
that worked for me (using Mozilla) was her e-mail. ANyone else been
able to see the slippers?

For me the most satisfying project is whichever one I've just
finished! ;-))

No, but seriously, folks... I'm working on a counted cross stitch
picture at the moment, and to see it emerging out of a seemingly
random arrangement of strange charted symbols is quite exciting
(steady on now Sue - calm down old girl!). It's a chart of a painting
by Martin Johnson Heade - Rio de Janeiro Bay 1864 - and I can hardly
wait until it's up on the walls.

Hi Group!
What's the most satisfying project you've done (in recent memory)??
Why?
Hugs,

Sue,

Glad to see you started the picture. I just got the two last colors for the
knight and will wait until cooler weather to start it.

Mary, love the slippers, you do nice work.

Hugs,

Nora

Thanks Katherine I really appreciate that. They have not really taken
off but I just put the site up in early July so I am hoping for the
best. Your comment is most appreciated. Mary :0)

My most satisfying was probably the Dale sweater I made some time ago for my
oldest granchild. It was my first experience with steeks and cutting the whole
front for a cardigan. I was scared stiff but did it and it turned out well.
(It has kept two of the three girls warm so far and Danae is likely to inherit
it as it looks fine despite lots of wear. Those sweaters are WARM because of
carrying that wool yarn along behind in a multi-colored pattern.)

Actually - a soft afghan for the same girl is a close second - not because it
was anything special but because an almost teenager LOVED it and uses it all
the time. She wraps up in it to read or do homework. (Hard to please 12 year
old girls usually)
