Default Drool - Cool fish on eBay

OK, given that eBay is such a ghost town right now, I am almost certain
I could get one of these at a good price *if* I had any money, which I
don't... but if anyone out there is a fan of realistic glass fish, these
are amazing examples by an artist who usually gets top dollar, but NO
BIDS YET on any of these! Fish are not usually my bag, but this lady and
Ofilia Cinta make fish that even I can love... mostly just because
they're SO incredibly skillful! Dang! This seller is one of the Grande
Dames of beadmaking; if I'm not mistaken she had some of her fish on
display at Bullseye several years ago and they are really incredible in
person!

Anyway, check 'em out:

Oh, and if anyone here is a fan of Michael Barley or Brad Pearson's
work, they also have some up on eBay and prices are still waaay low!

This seller is one of the Grande
Dames of beadmaking;

pam is very good -
I kept my eye on her fish for over a year - and managed to get a clown fish.

It's on my living room end table! G

Sadly - I see the market is saturated enough her prices are falling - I paid
nearly double that for mine....

Yeah, and one of hers went for $150 last week... most of them go for
$80-100. I don't think it's anything permanent, just a great window of
opportunity for one of the few who happens to have extra cash right now.
The market is far from saturated, IMO... not with lampworkers of her
caliber, and buyers of that level of lampwork definitely DO know the
diference.

Her fish beads are stunning. If I were into fish and had the cash I would
definitely want one, and would certainly pay double the price listed. The
purple one is amazing!
