My First Classes!!!
Hi all,
First thankyou Ravi, for your reply to my earlier post about education. Now, im very close to beginning my first classes available here in pittsburgh for jewelry making. The first is lost wax casting and the second class is beginners jewelry design....anyhow as i get cloaser to the beginning of these classes i find myself more excited than ever. I will probably have these questions answered by my instructors or the shop where i intern at in the future, but i cant keep myself from asking now. If i end up wanting to pursue this as a career, (which is so far how i feel) how much money should i save toward opening my own retail shop? Now i know this is all dependent on the amount of inventory etc... but what i mean is how much is the equipment going to cost for my own bench so that i can create my own pieces, as well as a starting inventory of ready made pieces such as those found in your average negihborhood store. and yes i know that can vary greatly...but i just need a rough idea. Thankyou all for any help or advice you can give me. and im sorry if it sounds like a dumb question. yasin |
