Default OT wacky weather

We have had a pretty weird summer this year. Yesterday really topped it
all. On rare occasions we get some rain in the late summer. Just a bit
usually and it is not often. Yesterday was the exception. Hail was about
3/8".

It takes me a while to 'find' all the stuff on a new car; 12 - 15 years or
so. One night I had to drive up to the Sherriff's office (seemed like a
safe place) and ask how to dim the headlights. At least I know not to punch
the button that raises the hood. Polly

Taria, we didn't get hail, but we had a real downpour! We could use
more of the same, of course. I'm really glad I'd already figured out how
to work the front and rear windshield wipers on my new car -- I hadn't
really thought I'd need to use them so soon. g

Oh, golly, Taria. I hadn't thought about the danger of flying glass in
years. Long years ago we had glass explode during a hurricane and 'bury up'
in the wall across from the window. Yes, my goodness yes. Michelle's table
could certainly have done some killer harm. Polly

That sounds like a big chore. Be careful while you work.
I guess there is something to be said for old fashioned wood picnic
tables? That might really hurt someone if it went flying though. I hate
that old wind we get.
