The pros are, lower fees than etsy, a great group of people to deal
with, both the site admins and staff as well as other sellers. Its a
great place to have your hand crafted items stand out, there are street
teams for specific groups (such as teams of people from specific states
or by the medium used)and there is are chat rooms and forums that are a
lot of fun.
I have been selling on Etsy for a year now and am impressed with the
people, the site, and the goods that are offered for sale.
The cons: the site is still young and they are working hard to keep up
with the huge leaps of growth. There are a few bugs and the site has
been taken down a few times to help them upgrade. Thats about all the
negative things I can think of. Others might have differing opinions.
All in all I am a HUGE fan of etsy. I really love the people I have
met in the chat rooms, they are helpful, kind and considerate,at least
most of them.

Hi Vicky,

I have to agree with Diane - I love Etsy, but I think it takes a while
to get established there, and lots of schmoozing in the forum helps (I
hope they fix the forum...it's kind of useless in its present form). I
also have to list more items, but I have had 10 sales in about a year
and a half. I think it could use more eyeballs - while I love the site
and things people make, it's not always stuff that I would buy myself.
For the features and cost, you can't go wrong with it though!

Best,
Christine
