Heard from my Dad

He's doing fine. They had some days of bad smoke. The kids were off school
because of it, but he's stayed indoors so it hasn't triggered any
worsening of his mild asthma. He says the Simi Valley fires have stayed on
the other side of the ridge, more toward Santa Clarita than the town of
Simi Valley.
