Default needlepoint in KC

I know about the Studio, but I seem to remember another
shop that carried needlepoint. In my memory i was
farther south than the Studio. Is it still there?

TIA

(This is my first post...be gentle! wink)

I don't know where the Studio is, but you could try Two the Point at 4663
Indian Creek Pkway in Overland Park.

Roberta, ya did fine! I think The Studio is in Westport somewhere, but I've
never found it, either.

If you are up for a drive, Needle Buffs in St. Joseph is a (I think) a good
needlepoint store. I don't do needlepoint, but they do seem to carry what looks
to ME like a good variety. I don't know the address, but it's very easy to
find. I-29 north, left on Frederick, right on Belt Highway and a right just
after the old Pony Express Motel.. it's almost an immediate thing, so watch for
it.

Unless it has recently moved, the Studio is not in Westport, it's
in a small commercial area called, I think, Brookside.

Has anyone been to Needle Buffs lately? I heard they had closed.

Thanks

I just looked it up...6213 Holmes in KCMO, which puts it on the "outskirts"
of Brookside.

Well, no, but now I'm curious! Guess I'll be taking a short drive up to St. Joe
tomorrow! I'm almost positive the last time I was up there .. well.. now..
can't honestly say that, either.. I glanced down towards the shop as I was
driving past, but it was after their normal hours. Yep.. gonna be taking a
drive up there...

And yeah, guess Brookside isn't that close to Westport. To ME, once I've
crossed the Broadway Bridge, I'm in KC and NOTHING is far away. It's ALL one
city. LOL But I live 20 miles north of the airport, so once I've driven that
far, nothing is far.

ROFL!! "That far" to me is actually getting to the airport! Nothing like
40 miles to the airport at some ungodly hour like 5 am...
