Default 4-panel manga

I attempting a 4-panel manga, which can be found he
https://www.flickr.com/photos/brian0...57680223526176 (I hope
the second one is not too racy).

Well, anyway, for my next installment, I was thinking of adapting one or
more of the following jokes:

I was wondering if only quilters would get them.

Default 4-panel manga

Hello Brian,
I always wondered just what a 4 panel manga looked like, now I know. I would like to see the finished one that you are making. Those jokes and sayings are really cute. The only one that does not apply to me is the one about not finishing a quilt before starting a new one. Yes, I can not resist buying material even though I have nothing in mind to sew. Hate stopping to fix lunch or dinner. Been known to buy TV dinners so I don't have to cook. I like casseroles because they last 3 days and love quickie salads. If I am cooking, then I am not sewing. Have a closet and dresser full of material. Sometimes I give material away so I can justify buying more material.. Laughing here.

Ok, I will see what I can develop from those jokes. In the meantime, I
will say a little bit about a 4-coma, or yonkoma comic strip.

Traditionally, Yonkoma follow a structure known as Kishōtenketsu. This
word is a compound formed from the following Japanese Kanji characters:

Ki (起):The first panel forms the basis of the story; it sets the scene.
Shō (承): The second panel develops upon the foundation of the story laid
down in the first panel.
Ten (転): The third panel is the climax, in which an unforeseen
development occurs.
Ketsu (結): The fourth panel is the conclusion, in which the effects of
the third panel are seen.[2]

Apparently, this is the most popular format for comics in Japanese
newspapers, etc. I looked at go comics (
www.gocomics.com) which is a
collection of "American" comics and I could not seem to find any 4-panel
strips in the few I looked at, some seemed to have a similar structure.

I will post here when I do have these jokes developed into comics. In
the meantime, I still wonder if any of the jokes would be funny to
anyone except quilters, and if my second one (the one about the lady
breastfeeding her baby) is too racy.
