Mini Round Robin

What a surprise I got tonight when I checked my mail. I had a package from
Sue in Winnipeg with both Lizzy Taylor's and my mini round robins!

What delightful tops they are, I can't wait to sandwich and start quilting
on mine. Lizzy, I'll try and get my borders on quickly and get it for you
for an early Christmas present.

Melissa, do you still have the WebPages up with the pictures of the other
groups? I don't think I have it bookmarked and would like to send you a
picture if it is still up and running.

Actually, I've been waiting almost a year for the final quilt and my own, a
bit of a moving glitch happened. I think they got mislaid along the way.
Just glad to have them on their way home.

I haven't done a RR in a few years now - well, not IRW. Our Virtual Quilt
Group is about to do their first RR Quilt designs. Not quite the same
thing - we will be finished in a couple of weeks LOL

If anyone is interested in calling for another international mini RR I would
love to take part from Australia. I promise to meet deadlines - cross my
heart and spit!

Alternatively - would the Aussies like to do one?

I am about to start a 12 block project with a theme of the 12 Days of
Christmas for NEXT Christmas (2006). Is anyone else planning for next
Christmas? If so - what sort of projects?

The need for Christmas quilts is not high in Oz so my blocks will become
placemats for a friend who has a magnificent jarrah table that seats 12.
They host a family dinner each Christmas so this will be appropriate.

Kristie, I'm so sorry to hear that. Hopefully it will still show up some
day. I don't know if Deb still reads the newsgroup - I don't think I've seen
a post from her for quite some time - but maybe your post will serve as a
reminder to her and she'll pop it in the mail. I'll keep my fingers crossed!
