Default Using polymer clay figures in soap

Hi, I lurk here often, but don't know enough about pc yet to say much. I do
have a question, though. I am making crafts for our church bazaar in Dec. I
want to put little polymer clay "trinkets" into soap (the glycerin type you
melt). Last year I bought the trinkets, but I would like to make them from
pc this year. Does anyone know how the soap will affect the pc? Do I need to
seal the pc with something like Future?

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Helene

All I know is that Johnny Kuborssy from our guild embedded a cane slice in some
homemade glycerin soap some months back, and it seemed to be fine. If you want
to ask him about it, go to his website http://www.polypals.com, and drop him
an e-mail from there; I'm sure he'll be happy to help.

Thanks Diane, I'll check with him. I hate to give my church a bad name by
selling something that turns ugly.

I embedded a thin piece of polymer clay into glycerin type soap. I did it last
February and it's still clear, just like it was when I first made it. I didn't
seal mine with anything. I haven't used it to bathe with but I did use another
soap that I put in a plastic sticker and some pressed flowers and the plastic
sticker came out of the soap intact after the bar wore down.
