Default need some advice! bernina on lawaway

I understand, Betsey. My brain is hard-wired 'Bernina' and since there's no
dealer here, it's just easier on me to stay within the same line. However,
LOL, I did see a notice posted over on fb recently that says something like
this:
"Things happen for a reason. Sometimes the reason is that you are
stupid and make a mistake."
(NOT appropriate to your situation; just struck me as funny.)
Anyhow - if I had to change to Viking of Pfaff, I'd need an instructor
sitting in my lap for days. Months? Polly

"betsey"
in theory it's a great idea. in reality, i'm not a bernina person, so
i would want the dealer support and help. I'm a firm believer in that
things do happen for a reason, and turn out they way they should.
while i'm dissapointed, it's all good.

Great, Betsey. Since you are already comfortable with Viking, I'm so glad
you found one you'll love and be instantly familiar with. My quilting buddy
is a Viking maniac - she hasn't gotten into looting and pillaging yet - but
she is very happy with her sms. Polly

Betsey
Sandy-I did! and i'll think i'll be very happy with it....

a viking tribute 140 c. bought from a dealer that i bought my
original viking from, as well as my embroidery machine and a couple of
vacuums. he gave me a great price this morning--he has to order me
one, but that's ok.

polly-
and if i lived in an area that had an abundance of bernina people (or
any sewing people!), it would be different too...but i know viking, i
luff viking, and i am so excited by the tribute it's not even funny at
this point. when i initially put the bernina on layaway, the tribute
was not yet out...and every place had the 835 and 875...but no 855
which is essentially what the tribute is.

what a shame i don't have you as a neighbor. not jsut for bernina
help, but nate could wrangle your gators....
