suggested knots that cinch down by pulling only 1 string
Hi there,
I'm a novice knot tier. Can anyone suggest a knot that cinches down and becomes tight by pulling only 1 end of the string? I've got a situation where I want to pre-tie a knot of a single string around a rod. I'd like to be able to tighten this knot by pulling only one end of the string and the knot becomes tight. I could also push against the knot. thanks. |

Have you seen the recent thread in this group about a one-handed
parcel knot question: http://groups.google.com/groups?dq=&...c.crafts.knots (or just search Google groups) It may address what you're asking, but you're welcome to describe your requirements in greater detail.
