Well, I finished another quilt for my grand daughter who will arrive this
week whether she wants to or not, apparently. She was due on the 9th and
the doctor will induce on Wednesday if nothing happens on it's own by then.
I think they are trying castor oil today so if labor starts today, the
little lady could be here by sometime tomorrow. So, if you have a few spare
moments, think pink! She really doesn't want to be induced, but is ready
for either alternative. We're just all hoping for a safe, short labor and
delivery!

OMG!! Castor Oil doesn't work! And it's not good for anyone. Just makes
an already sick and tired mom - more sick and tired. Don't let them do that
to her.

Yuck. Just what you want when pushing....a greasy intestinal tract! Ugh!
Perhaps a little sublingual or buccal Pitosin. Did the trick for me! I
don't really understand why she doesn't want to be induced. It's time for
DGD debut!

I took castor oil with my first DD, and it did the trick. G Hoping it
does the same for this baby!

Castor Oil worked for me, 10 lb. 1 oz., 22 in. boy, he's 33 years old
now.
My Dr. was a wonderful Mennonite GP, his wife was his NP and at least
one of his five daughters worked in his office. I had never noticed
that he wore glasses until he walked into the delivery room, he was
dressed all in green and all that I saw was those black rimmed
glasses!

I'm not real fond of that shade of green and I have never made a green
quilt, I like the dark greens.

My DS would never have been born without it.

Depletes the body of potassium, electrolytes, etc. and only makes you sick.
Just what you don't need during labor. Doesn't do a thing to get baby on
the way if it isn't ready to come. You can take the stuff until the cows
come home but it won't make a baby come one moment sooner. Just weakens
poor mother.
