Hi Su

I cannot replicate this problem. When I try the ebay link from my
webpage, it just links straight to my listings without problem.

Also - I dont understand what you mean by saying "However, when I
click on ejralph, it does take me to your correct feedback,"

Where are you clicking on ejralph? is my name showing on these phantom
german listings somewhere then?

This is weird and worrying - because everything is working just fine
for me. Will you do me a favour and check it again and see if it is
still being odd? I cannot begin to imagine what is going wrong there -
because you are right, I am not German and certainly not selling
Aerosmith cd's!

Thanks for letting me know this - just wish I could see for myself
what this gremlin is, then maybe I could fix it.

Emma

I have some auctions running at ebay this week - polymer, ceramic and
lampwork. Plus an auction at Justbeads, but I warn you - I was in a
silly mood when I wrote that listing !

Please visit my site www.ejrbeads.co.uk and click on the ebay or
justbeads links there to see the auctions

Um, Emma, unless you have an alter ego that lives in Germany, there's
something wrong with your listings.

The first thing to show up in your eBay link is:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...sPageName=WDVW

T-Shirt Strickjacke Cape seller ID:rosenkind17

There's two other German listings.

However, when I click on ejralph, it does take me to your correct feedback,
and then the button there that takes me to 'Seller's Other Listings' does
take me to your eBay beads.

Beyond bizarre. Unless you really do have 23 Rock CDs for sale. I never
thought you were an Arrowsmith kind of girl.

Oh blimey -

of course, I wish i never brung it up now ;-)

Britain is so full of local dialects and accents, that that in itself
gives new words or new meanings to words if you just drive 50 miles
up'road!

I am half-way through reading Melvyn Bragg's book on the evolution of
the English language at the moment. It is fascinating and I highly
recommend it to anyone who is interested in the English language.

For instance, I never knew that back when the USA was being born -
American English was considered to be much purer and closer to proper
English for a long while. I always assumed that when an American says
words such as 'gotten' where we would say 'got' - that it was an
American evolution to the language. But according to Bragg, 'gotten'
was original and the Brits dropped the ending and shortened the word -
which many found quite slovenly. Come to think of it though, I am sure
many dialects up North still use gotten too. There are plenty other
examples like this that are in the book.

You could also say I have brung you this , it could mean both. A local

Also the words quite and quiet. They get mixed up.

Yep. I thought that calling one set of my beads 'More D*mn Beads' might
make some people upset but it's all in fun and hardly anything more than
amusing.

The name was really well-received, many people thought it was a real laugh.

Probably a minor glitch. When I clicked on the link, the top half of the
page was correct, showing ejralph as the seller with your feedback and all,
so when I saw the duff listings below, I clicked on the feedback number for
you, which gives the page showing your feedback and that option to see all
listings by ejralph, which took me right to your listings.

Where are you clicking on ejralph? is my name showing on these phantom
german listings somewhere then?

No, the sellers are clearly not ejralph. It might have been something odd
in the search string.

You'll be happy to know that clicking on your eBay link on your website
works perfectly now. The ways of eBay are many and bizarre.

You don't like Aerosmith?

Seems to have de-gremlinized itself. Or would that be de-gremlintated?

I think that was an inspired name. After all, is that just what our
other halves always say each time another beady envelope drops through
the door!

Ok, so probably not Mike, seeing as he is a bead-head too ;-)

Glad it was just a gremlin in the works - thanks for rechecking that
for me Su.

Aerosmith are ok, but not when they are hijacking my auctions ;-)
Liked the love in a lift song many moons ago.

Now't queerer than folk, lass.

Did you see the series? It was wonderful.

What I fail to comprehend is the use of the ending -tate. Orientate to
orient someone in a direction. It seems superfluous to me. And odd to an
American ear that has gotten used to most British terminology. It sounds
fairly BBC-inspired which means it's more an affectation than anything else.
