DIY Fake Woodgrain
A few years ago I posted a link to a page about duplicating the fake
woodgrain, called photofinish, that is on many radios from the 1930s. The page is being updated and you can see it here; http://pages.cthome.net/ptf/photofinish.htm The page is not finished yet. The section on coloring black and white prints is not there, but will be added later. You have to navigate from the left side. Lacquer was the finish used on the old radios, but that may not be a concern to you if you try any of this. Stewart Schooley |
