The DNA Strand in Yarn...
Someone had posted before about the double stranded DNA in yarn
(http://noodle.pds.k12.nj.us/june/). The pattern is for knitting. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions about how I could change it to crochet. I don't know how to knit, so I don't understand the pattern! I haven't tried anything yet, but I was thinking about trying the front and back post stitching... either double or half double crochet in the front post of the stitch on the previous row, to create the raised look. I don't know!! I would like to make it in thread, kind of like filet crochet, for my high school science teacher. I thought I could have the strand horizontal across the top, and underneath put his name. Maybe I could have it framed for him and he could hang it in his room at school. Please help so I can do this! Thanks!! Sandy |
