I think some of us are getting out of the habbit of marking posts that are
unrelated to quilting OT. Unfortunately, I can not read all the posts here -
there are many, and I like to sort them. I know there have been a lot of
medical issues and relatives that have past =- these issues are important to
the poster and friends of the poster, however they are still OT posts.

Thank you, and sorry if I am provoking any ire in any of you, I don't mean
to be rude or uncaring, just busy?

And changing the subject line when appropriate would be a kindness, too. I'm
guilty of forgetting now and then, so I know how easy it is! LOL

I read the first message in a thread. If it's something that interests me,
I read further. If not, I mark the remaining as read. With all on my plate
right now, I can't read everything.

Same here! I just sort the posts by subject, read and reply where I
have something to say and skim the rest.
