Default Wool Winder

Hi everyone

I have taken up spinning again but cannot find my wool winder. It is
probably under that enormous pile of yarns etc in the loft but I just can't
face starting to it yet. Has anyone any idea where I could get a wool
winder. I am in Northern Ireland and have rung the few shops here that used
to stock knitting machines but have not had any luck. I have checked
eBay.co.uk and though they have some I never get the time to keep checking
and have missed out on a couple!

Anyone out there can help??

Andee

In more of a tizzy than a spin at the moment!

Andee welcome to the group.....

I suggest you get a friend to help you look in your loft...cheaper as
well, wol winders are not all the cheap to buy.....Or wind your spinning
onto a toilet roll or into a ball and put your balls in a plastic bucket
and ply from there. I never use a wolwinder when I am spinning. I use
mine when I am weaving.

Good luck with finding one, either in a store of on your loft...

Els
