Where is the school? What a great place it must be!

He goes to a Waldorf school. They are all over the world. Handwork
(knitting, crocheting, embroidery, sewing) are all part of the
curriculum. They also learn cooking skills, etc., in addition to
academics and such.

It's a child base curriculum, laid back and allows the child to come
into his/her own on their own time schedule. My DGS is very active
and it works nicely for him.

Ah, yes, I have heard of them. Great places! Your GS is a lucky little boy.

I finished two sets (one red and one cherry) of knitting needles
today. Wow! they went lickety split. Added a charm to each of
them...drilled a tiny hole up near the top and threaded some soft flex
my daughter-the-beader has and attached a tiny charm. They look very
cute.

I think these will sell well at the craft fair.

Thanks so much to all for the information. I have seven more sets all
"sharpened" and waiting to be sanded.
