Default Revised Edition Holiday NO SEW Swap

It was mentioned to me that the items you send should be Winter Holiday
themed not Christmas themed. In my excitement I totally didn't think about
those who don't celebrate Christmas. So sorry if I offended anyone, because
I
sure didn't mean to 'k?

If you have any specific allergy PLEASE tell me when you send me your
information!! That way I can forward that information to your swap buddy so
we don't have any mishaps.

We want everyone to enjoy the lunch together!!

Do you have a coffee mug sitting in the back of your kitchen cupboard
that you never use? Do you want to have lunch with a friend you have
made here in this group? Well this swap can do just that for you!!

Here is all you need to do:

1. Email me your name, nickname, and mailing address . Sign up
for this swap closes on November 20th, 2005.

Make sure you put NO SEW as the subject or it may go into the garbage
folder.

2. Now hunt up that coffee mug and fill it with the following:
These are the theme items:
Your Name and Screen Nickname and a note.
A recipe card with your favourite recipe on it.
A small ingredient to go with your recipe if possible.
A beverage mix (can be a tea bag, hot cocoa mix (don't forget the
marshmallows), flavoured coffee mix, etc)
A Fat 8th of fabric of your choice (a Fat 8th measures 9 inches
by 22 inches) or a Fat Quarter if you wish (18x22)

Other suggestions for items to fit in your mug include:
Pins and needles, spare sample blocks, any quilting/sewing notions,
magazines, any small Holiday decorations or anything else that pertains to
Winter Holiday's and Quilting and oh don't forget some chocolate!!
Pretty much anything you can fit and want to fit into a Mug is what this is
all about. You have full permission to use your imagination here folks!

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT.. ...Lunch and a treat in a Coffee Mug!!

3. Package it up and get it ready to be mailed.

By November 22nd , I will match up swap partners and email everyone
the name of their swap mate.(This will be a secret swap buddy situation,
so no telling who you got or what you are sending!)

THIS IS A DIRECT MAIL SWAP

4. Once you receive the name of your Mug buddy, you have until
December 2nd, 2005 to mail your Lunch and Goodies in a Mug to your friend.
What better way to share a lunch between friends that are
miles/countries/continents apart??

5. Enjoy your lunch with your quilting buddy!!

Maybe when you start to receive your mugs we could start a post to share?

Um, sure, yes, that's what it was. Not a "senior moment" at all, at all ;-)
