P.S. Karate teacher said she prefers earthy colors. Not *my*
preference, but I think the first block turned out fairly
decent...pattern was located on www.quilterscache.com "Japanese Lantern"

pattern? Or are you using a variety?

Thank you Sandy! The blocks will be the same, but with different accent
fabrics (skinny stripes). I will be alternating the main print as well
since i have 2 Asian themed fabrics that have the same colors in them.
Still not sure what I am going to do to finish it off.....working out
some ideas.
