Default foredom micro motor

Help,
I purchased a foredom mirco motor and a gesswin power hand II. It was from
ebay and a real bargin. They run. My problem is I don't know how to change
the bits. There is a tool with the triangular hole to place over the collet
but I can not change the bits because the collet is not held still.
After you stop laughing can anyone they me what to do. Thank you,
Tom
