David, as you've been reminded in other newsgroups, please use the word
"AD--" as a preface to your subject line when advertising. if your post is
Off Topic, please use "OT--" Also, ontopic posts (the topic is often told by
the group name) are very welcome in ALL groups, particularly so we don't
think you just came in as a Salesman At Our Door. Many groups become like an
actual party or gathering, where its polite to talk a bit before Making Your
Pitch. Conversation, not just sticking a flyer to the door....
