Whilst putting together this year's cookies for our send out, the stand
mixer died. One of the girls just ran it a little too long I think. It
is one of those plastic one from the 70's.

In my current condition (messed up back, complete with PT) there is no
way I could get the usual amount and variety done. Even with 2 daughters
helping (or maybe especially with 2 daughters helping(G))

Upon discovering this, and the fact that no way could we replace it for a
fair while, one of our usual recipients bought us a new one.
It should get here on Saturday.
I am stunned and amazed.
I don't think we have ever had a brand new one. We usually scour the
thrift shops until we find one. A brand new Kitchen Aid Mixmaster is
something I would only dream about!

I guess somebody really appreciates our cookies!

Tis the season for sure!
