Default OT - need positive vibes

We had major major rainfall and flooding today - the culvert at the
end of our driveway completely clogged up with debris coming down the
hill as it was flowing so fast -- then water ran down the driveway
--we now have 2 feet of water in our basement which is a complete
disaster area; we lost a freezer full of food, all the holiday
decorations, pictures, etc. Many of my vintage sewing machines are
probably toast. The fire department came out and lent us a industrial
strength pump, so it's slowly going down....we're in for a major
cleanup for the next few days not to mention probably pulling out the
wallboard, etc. to avoid mold.

Combined with the transmission going out on my car last week, hand
surgery tomorrow (to 'fix' a painful trigger finger) and I could sure
use any postiive vibes you can spare.

Hope your surgery goes well and you heal fast. So sorry to hear about the
rain damage.

Oh my goodness, Irene, what a tragedy! Even if you had a million dollars
worth of insurance, and even if some of your machines survive, I'm sure
there's just no way to replace your treasured SMs that you've collected.
Awful. Simply AWFUL. I don't know how to vibe but I'll hold you close in
my prayers. So very sorry. Polly

Irene, I am so sorry to hear about the flooding, we are close to
Rochester and we got a lot of really wet slushy snow combined with rain
but haven't heard anything about flooding. Our internet was out, then
the power, and of course the phone goes with the internet.

You'll be in my thoughts and I will keep on sending good thoughts your
way. AND I just happen to know where there is another basement with a
few machines, nothing like yours but a couple down there that you are
welcome to have.

Prayers for you and your family going up. I know you must be sick
about this loss. I wish you well with your surgery tomorrow also.

Oh Irene, you have all my prayers and good thoughts and wishes that
the clean up won't be as bad s expected. And I'll add a prayer for
your vintage machines. A flood is as bad as a fire, maybe worse.

Hugs and as much energy as I can send,
Sunny
