Anyone else in this predicament? Last night I planned to start sewing up
a log cabin lap quilt for my aunt for Christmas, but started watching
the first game of the World Series. Now, I don't usually watch a lot
of sports, but for some reason, maybe it's because I'm a native NYer who
still lives in NY, I have been paying attention to the playoffs
recently. Before I knew it the time was 11:30 and nothing quilty had
been accomplished. At all.

So, tonight, I will bring up one of my featherweights and set it up on a
TV table in the living room. I hope I can piece and listen/watch the
game at the same time. At least then I can get something done while I'm
watching game 2. Otherwise, I'm going to be watching this dang series
for the next week and not get a thing done in the evenings!!

maybe you could find a radio broadcast of the game (do they still do
that?) and listen and sew.

Tiger's baseball games with Ernie Harwell commenting always meant Spring
to me when I was a kid.

Default Quilting and the World Series

I understand exactly what you are saying!. I am just hoping that there
will be something else I can watch while trying to stitch this evening.

Could be worse.
During the last game of the ALCS, I was knitting a blanket for my new
grandson to be -- and I had to rip out 6 rows the next day!
It's difficult to pay attention to patterns when the Yankees are down to
Boston in the seventh!
